Student Spotlight: Madalisto Masangwi

On this bright, sunny Sunday afternoon, I would like to introduce you to Madalisto Masangwi. He is a seventeen year old boy from Blayntre, Malawi. He is the second born son in a family of four children. His mother sadly passed away in 2008. After being rejected by his father and grandparents, he found himself surviving to the best of his ability for three months currently. He loves attending City Pentecost Church. We are so glad to welcome Madalisto to Agape House knowing that he has a bright future ahead of him. He is precious in the eyes of our staff as well as our God.

What is your favorite thing about coming to Agape House?

He loves the free education that is given to him.

What are some things that you have learned this week?

He learned about distance in mathematics.  He also worked on his English spelling.

What career would you love to have?

He wants to be a doctor so that he can help others.

What is your favorite game to play?

Soccer.

What five words best describe you?

Talkative. Friendly. Courageous. Intelligent. Conscious.

Who is your best friend?

Blessings Willebroad.

What is your happiest memory thus far?

When he was young, he was given money worth 20,000 MWK (roughly $40 American dollars).

What is the nicest thing you have ever done for someone?

He helped elderly people wash their clothing.

What is one thing you know about Jesus?

He is the Son of the Living God.

What is a gift you would give to every child around the world?

Clothes, soap and somewhere to live.

Father, thank you for the life you have given to Madalisto. He is a brave young man. We pray your blessings over Him knowing that you delight in him. We thank you for your provision over his life and thank you for leading him to Agape House. Use us to encourage him and bring him closer to you. Please supply his physical needs that remain unmet. He is your creation that you love deeply. Help us to show him that love. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
