We are glad to present you this week’s student spotlight, Simeon Kambiri! He is thirteen years old and lives with his Grandmother Mrs. Kambiri. They reside in the village Lirangwe in Blayntre, Malawi. Unfortunately, Simeon has been working on the streets for more than two years now and was unable to continue his education after third grade. He is the youngest son of 12 children. Sadly, four of his siblings have passed away as well as both of his parents. Although Simeon has faced great hardship, he has a bright future!

We asked Simeon some questions and here are his responses:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Simeon to you. We plead on his behalf that you would reveal yourself to him each and every day, that he would grow in your love. We thank you for your perfect plan for his life. We pray that he would be filled with hope and encouragement. Let his heart be full of joy and his mind full of peace. We ask that each physical need would be met. We know you care deeply for him and have his name engraved on the palm of your hand. In your name, Amen.
