At fourteen years old, Simeon Pondeponde is the oldest son in the family of four children. Coming from the district of Mbayani, Simeon dropped out of Mbayani Primary School in the sixth grade. Although he was found on Blantyre’s streets two years ago, since then, he has returned to his parent’s home. Since coming to Agape House, he is now currently in the eighth grade and is very much looking forward to taking the exiting exam to enter into secondary (high school) school this year. This week at Agape House, he has been learning about writing an essay. After finishing his education, Simeon hopes to become a spy for the Malawian government so that he can find secrets that are hidden. When we asked Simeon to describe himself, he stated that he was: talkative, hard working, hot tempered, and generous. We love that he has a generous heart, as he gave clothes to someone who was in need.
We are so glad to have Simeon learning with us at Agape House. He has incredible potential and we know that he can achieve much.

Father, thank you for Simeon. He is a hard working boy. We are glad that he has been rescued from the rough life of living on the streets. We are glad that he is home. But please, continue to keep him safe and to have a healthy relationship with his parents. As he goes throughout life, guard him with your love and truth. Let him be a man after your own heart.
