Ellen Mbdendera, a twelve year old girl from the village of Khumunye where she lives with her mother. Fortunately, Ellen was not found working on the streets. However, she still is in need of education support while she attends school. She is currently in the seventh grade. Ellen is the oldest daughter in a family of two children.

What is your favorite aspect of Agape House?

The free education that is offered to her.

What is something that you have learned this week?

She began an introduction to English.

What career would you like to have when you grow up?

She would like to be a lawyer so that she can promote justice.

What is your favorite game to play?

Jump rope.

What five words best describe you?

Humble. Patient. Friendly. Courageous. Hard worker.

Who is your best friend?

Alinafe.

What is your happiest memory?

Her favorite memory happened when she was young. Her father took her to the lake.

What is the nicest thing you have ever done for someone?

She helped some young girls find a place to stay.

What is one thing you know about Jesus?

Jesus is savior.

If you could give one gift to every child in the world, what would it be?

She would send all the children to school as a gift.

Dear Father, thank you for Ellen. We are incredibly grateful that she has not had to work on the street and has been able to remain in public school. Thank you that she also has been able to come to Agape House to learn. You are good. Please be with her and provide her with every blessing in Jesus. Amen
